i'm a bit concerned about my tranny. my aftermarket cooler is running hot as hell. had to replace a leaking hose today and just noticed how hot it is. after some moderate in town driving i can barely keep my hand on my aux cooler.
i know the best way to plumb it is to tap into the pan. i really don't want to do that. i'd rather just mount the sending unit inline before the return to the tranny. question is i have read that autometer sells an adapter to plumb the sending unit in line. can't find it, anyone have some info?
also, what kind of temps do most of you see? i know this is going to vary depending on air temp and driving conditions etc, but i'd like a general idea cuase something isn't right here. how much of the fluid output of the pump goes through the cooler lines?
