What do you think? Looking for suggestions and comments on custom sub enclosures
« on: April 20, 2006, 07:18:35 PM »

This is what I plan on doing so far. Each RE10 needs .83 cubic feet and I'm betting I can get 1.66 cubic feet on each side.
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on it, especially if they've done this sort of thing before.

Pointing subs AT each other is BAD ... It causes wave cancellation ...It's better to point them towards  the rear

looks sweet as far as look goes, I love seeing other ppl do custom stuff like this.

On the technical side, Bad Venge is right, you need to get the subs pointing towards the rear of the vehicle as much as possible, the standing waves will pound your face off.

This will explain a lot, read through the different areas.  If you're serious about redoing the enclosure to perform at the max, if you're going for show it looks great.
