Im getting the Deck and Tweeters first. Im gonna get them installed along with a Line Level Bypass and use my Door and 6x9's till later. Run everything from the deck until I can buy the rest of teh stuff

I'm a fan of staying with one company for the whole thing. Infinity makes great speakers, so those wouldn't be bad to go with and then the Pioneer (I hate Pioneer) head unit. Or run an all Alpine system.

Not a fan of Pioneer, but as long as you're happy with what you got, my opinion is useless!

Heh heh. Your opinion has a bit of leverage.. just not enough to make me change my mind.. No.. the reason I got it was because I got a sweet deal on it... The cost for it is 180 and I got it for 199 so, And it has what I need. 3 Pre outs. Line in (for a laptop). Nice display, good quality. I cant complain

Infinity makes excellent indoor speakers but IMO their subs suck. Had a 12' inch Infinty sub and I blew it almost every other week

Actually, for what i listen to, Type s is better. Im into hard rock which Type S is made for. Type R is made for the hip hop side of music. Ive done some studying.

What groups do you listen to? The R-types have better low end, and mids. You get a good set of tweets and your have your highs covered. The S-types have a smaller fequency variation, making it less available to hit all sound levels. I have the R-Types and I listen to Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, and a lot of punk, grunge with some hip hop thrown in. I bought my brother some S-Types for Christmas, and would take the R's over them.

I like Hard Rock. Alot of Christian stuff. And yes there is christian hard rock out there. Look at P.O.D( I listen to them) Pillar, Skillet, Thousand foot Krutch, Beaumont, ect

I also listen to a finish band called nightwish, a bit of HIM. im all over the place

I don't like preachy music, but P.O.D. is pretty badass. I don't mind music with a message, especially a positive message. But I don't like it to be cheesy. P.O.D. is Rock music with christian value. Not Christian values pushed into a song.

lol.. I listen to both sides.. im a pretty hardcore christian so. ANYHOO... am I able to swap out all the speakers and still run the deck even though its line level
