Hope this helps. All the wires are located in a big harness inside the steering column. They are wrapped up in a big wire loom that you will have to cut open to get into. Be careful, disconnect your battery and good luck.
I tapped into the blue and black ignition wire for mine for power and then for the backlighting there is a green/white wire for the parking lights, I tapped into mine down by the fusebox. I suggest removing your front seat and laying on your back and get some kinda light in there, it makes it worlds easier.
