I avoid speeding tickets the old fashion way.  Get to know all the cops in your area.  I work with the cops pretty closely, so when I get pulled over ALMOST all the time I know the cop and they just say "oh I didn't know it was you, how are you?" and then it ends with me getting nothing more than a "See ya"

Thats cool, wish I had it like that Embarrassed  here where Im at the force is pretty much undermanned so they're always stressed out and when they do get get ya, they give you the 3rd degree about everything. Ever since it started warming up, the false and furious highschoolers are coming out by the dozens pissing them off even more so now theyre coming down extra hard on everyone old and young. Good thing I upgraded on my radar  Grin

LOL, well it's been hard luck trying to find a job around here as a po-po.  Maybe I'll have to look in your area........  And pull you over and hassle you.

We have an officer here where I live that loves to pull people over for no good reason.  My licence plate isn't displayed properly, or my window tint is too dark, or my window banner is illegal, or its raining and my car wasn't wet enough.  I swear everyone in Gladstone hates him.
Sorry, anyway I don't remember the site but I used to get txt message updates on my cel phone when somebody would report a speed trap.  It was pretty cool.

Nice info on that site.

I know most of the state patrol in my area, so I can speed on most highways (working for the state doesnt hurt either)

Hey "Darktengu" I don't mean to hassle you or anything like that but something caught my attention,

You said that you avoid getting tickets the "old fashion way by knowing all the cops in your area" but my question to you is: How small is the place where you live thats enables you to know all of them? But mostly: "How come you know all of them and they don't know your vehicle which is pretty unique?" Huh Huh

I shouldn't say I know all of them.  I know all of the ones that work the section of town that I work.  And they know me from work, which doesn't involve my car.  They see me in uniform and that's pretty much it.  But I've never been pulled over by a cop that I knew twice.  And it's no hassle.

You could live in NB like me. The cops are too lazy to get out of timhortons and catch me.

Not to say I'm a maniac on the roads but my Average speed on a 4 lane double Hwy is about 140km/h to 160km/h Weather permitting.
I did get 1 ticket in 6 years so "knock" on wood.

i love my radar detector! i cannot tell you the amount of times its gone off and saved my butt out of a ticket. i swear by mine. it was well worth the nearly $300 investment 2 or 3 years ago for sure! i just have a lead foot. even when i try not to, i find myself going faster and faster. i have to set my cruise control to force myself to drive the speed limit. but i never speed in school zones or in certain suburban cities here. some of them have horrible speed traps that pull you over for 2 or more mph over. and one place just loves to pull over my car even if i'm not speeding. says i look too suspicious. i won't get into it now, but i usually go to jail if i get pulled over. no license for one. haven't had one for 4 or 5 years now. but its all my fault so i really can't bitch there. was pulled over in that sub one time and let go just to be pulled over by another cop not even 3 minutes down the road. that one didn't let me go. Sad   plus we gotta be really careful around here now that constables have the right to pull you over for traffic violations now. its the constables and the suburb police you have to worry about. i don't worry about getting pulled over by dallas cops unless i'm really truly doing something dangerous. cuz they have better things to do than mess with traffic violators.

anyhow, i remember posting a site a long time ago that txt messaged speedtraps to your cell. anyone know if that site is still around?
