You might need to check out a industrial store near you and see if they can help with the bolt.  Or order it.  I can't really be much more help that to tell you to get a different bolt.  Even if it's a longer one because right now you just need to get the thing off.  I wish I could do more for you but unless your near Green Bay, WI I'm kind of useless.

Hot Dang!!!   I finally got that darn thing off!!!  Now to get a new one.  Is there any way that the crank could have pushed out any?  I measured the inner depth of the pulley and it is 1"  I measured the shaft of the crank that is sticking out and its just over 3/4"  Pretty close to the measurement that the pulley was out of allignment.
Now if I get an underdrive pulley are they generally about the same width?  I know they are generally smaller

I don't have an underdrive so I'm no help with that.  But the idea that the crank shifted is pretty wierd, if that happened you'd be having much worse problems.  I've never heard of a crank shifting, but if it did, you'd, at the very least, would be leaking ALOT of oil

well than that is comforting to know.  Im not leaking anything and the motor runs sound other than some lifter ticking.  So maybe they just didnt get the thing on all the way or something.  I'll just have to try a new pulley and see if it will go on all the way.  Im with you this whole thing is wierd.  Thanks for the help though!!

Keep me updated. I'd like to know if something is really screwed up.  And of course I want to know when it's up and running right again!
