my understanding is all P.Ts have 4 cylinders  and  I havent at this point seen a avenger
with anything other than V 6, IN that so far as I know,, NO deal on swaping a PT manual
to a avenger...Not to mention timing sensor may require you to upgrade to a MSD
6al box and make a crank trigger for your ignition to work... Chrysler corp has made
a few changes on the 604 s  that as I see it , you can rebuild and bullet proof a
604 if you want to spend the bucks,, Of course your rebuild is only as good as
the converter rebuilder but they can be up graded also and little things like
unhooking your coolant sensor for raceing will keep it from lking up during full
