My wife worked at Caribou Coffee for a while... that was money. We even got free drinks months after she stopped working there (i dont like coffee but i dig specialty drinks)

Google won't search for Chuck Norris because it knows you don't find Chuck Norris, he finds you.
As for being provided food, I get nothing like that. I do get an office away from my boss in the field, a state vehicle (can't take it home though, have to park at a state garage), and lots of freedom. I will take that trade off
In Jan 2nd, 2006, I came to work as a Loan Officer for Metrocities Mortgage,
What I do is: I can refinance your existing loan or get you a home loan, I love the fact that I don't have a boss, I have plenty of time for my family (wife and kids), I can work from home, but I still have an office and last but not least: income wise I can afford a lot of crap I didn't just 6 mos ago!!!
Dislikes none!
Previously I worked for Legal Aid in Riverside, CA I loved the job because I had a bunch of attorneys in the same office always willing to go against the County or Law Enforcement for free (they get paid with Federal-Grants). Also loved the fact that the same organization has "court-based projects" across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties I worked in both counties and interacted directly with "Judges, Court Reporters, Clerk and Sheriffs Deputies" in the daily basis ..... but salary sucked for everyone who's not an attorney!
Direct Tv -- Customer Service Rep boyfriend certified level 2 tech. since 99 I learned so much from home & assisting others for free (reprograming remotes, reseting systems) I figured, Heck, if I had to be around it all day might as well get paid to do it.
Likes: pay is good. raises come regularly even if you screw up. Dislikes: stupid people trying to lie about their ppv & ppv verves who think it is cool to demonstrate their last movie. & before shift changed sunday, disliked driving home & totaling car.
Damn dog,
us females just too damn sensitive.. If I were a guy, i'd nailed that dog, kept going & then repaired my car later..
NOPE, swerve 1-way then the other & hit ditch & turm my baby unto the top on her nose, hit telephone with roof & land ever so graceful while the 100lb perenese dog still harasses the nation.. uh & then go home via Direct Tv van (god, eat sleep DTV)
Sorry, just needed to vent, it happened thursday.. god I miss my car.. I actually partially detailed it today (even knowing it was totaled) that is just sad.. (well I kinda did it so when I remove parts I won't glass myself)
I used to be a supervisor at a grocery store..so hehe...I was boss of the bagger boys and cashiers.....till I hated everyone I worked with and some customer got upset that I didnt show him my teeth and decided to go corporate on me. So now I stock fruits..heheh...an apple a day?...more like 30 + oranges + every fruit you can imagine...no wonder I dont take breaks..just started but whatever...I dont make a lotta money..I'm still a year away from my BS aka bullsh*t degree, then Ill be working for some underdog car company..hopefully it doesnt begin with an H...or an S.
I work in the transportation department for a local engineering company. I do a lot of traffic studies, bridge inspections, bridge design, road/intersection design etc...
Likes: It doesn't feel like a job. It pays well, I work with great people, and I get to do something different every day. I also get to work outside a lot.
Dislikes: Sometimes sitting at a desk for 8-10 hours straight gets a little boring.
guess someone wouldnt be interested in being a customer service rep .haha, i wouldnt either. Ppl bitch too much, take out their problems on you and blame you for their shortcomings.
People suck. Especially the driving ones. I have people hauling ass by me everyday. I think everyone should try to do some highway work with 80 mph traffic about 6 inches from your head....its insane.
My hard hat was ripped from my head by a semi-truck once. A few inches lower, and I wouldn't be sitting here typing.
Yeah, don't envy you. I get to deal with stupid people all day. I get things like
My car won't start, I think its my alternator. My front brake pads are making a grinding noise, I looked and my pads and rotors are metal to metal, can I get some caps for my brake lines? I am just going to use my rear brakes. This oil didn't stop my valves from knocking, can I return it?
My all time favorite...
Oil cooler lines for an alternator on a 1985 Mibishi diesel tractor. Mibishi, not Mitsubishi. I have never heard of oil cooler lines for an alternator, nor have I EVER heard of Mibishi.
I dealt with trash all day long, so then I started looking at the people in the "normal" world as well, and noticed that they are all a bunch of morons too. Except for you guys. Well some of you guys. ok a couple of you guys.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
LOL, I hope I am one of the couple. I have my stupid moments though. I have noticed that people that have some form of intelligence usually realize when they do something stupid though and are embarrassed. I have also noticed that doesn't happen to often.
I usually notice.
