Haha nice posts..

As for the amp, i looked in the rear deck and nothing was there.. Just my two 6x9's..

So what do you guys think would be my best bet for my two 6 3/4's and my two 6x9's for rock and roll??

Thanks for the help  Grin

Hey man thanks, I really appreciate it! Systems is probably the weakest link for me.. I know pretty much nothing about them, and I have no clue what to look for in car stereo stuff.. When it comes to guitar amps and all that, then yeah I can tell you waht to get haha.. But not amps for a car, or speakers or anything like that.. I really appreciate the help!

My setup sounds really good with rock and roll, alternative and whatever.  I am running all my internal speakers off of just deck power for now.

I have
Kenwood Excelon 6 3/4 KFC-X170's in the front.  I just put them in today and they sound great off of deck power and they sound better off of an amp according to my friend so if you want to upgrade later they are a good option.

In the rear I have 6x9 Infinity Kappa KAPPA692.7I 's.  They also sound great.

Granted I do have a 12' sub in the rear which gives me more bass so I can balance out my mids and highs with my internals.  I also have an Eclipse so the acoustics are a bit different due to speaker placement (mine are facing towards me in the back instead of on the deck).

In my Avenger I had the Kappa series all the way around and it was nice, clean and clear just off deck power, and then I had to 10" subs in the trunk.  It wasn't the loudest system but I got lots of compliments on the clean sound.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your input Nykon, i really appreciate it.. Like I said im putting in my KD-S890 JVC deck into my car and I just wanted some more power to go with a more powerful deck, that way I can crank it up abit more, and still hear how clean it is.. I don't want it so loud that I can have all my excrement closed and u can hear me coming from a mile away.. But I do want to be able to hear it when i got my sunroof and windows down going 60 on the interstate lol..
I'll check into them.. I've heard good things on the Excelons, so I'll have to purchase them.. They fit pretty well I suppose? I heard some people had problems putting in their 6 3/4's?

Thanks man!

I have an all kenwood system in my bring. I'm running the kfc 1689's in the doors (3way), kfc 6989's in the rear deck (4 way) and st 30 tweeters in the dash all these are running on a 4 channel 1000 watt kenwood amp. To give some extra lowend punch I also have 2 w3009 10" subs in a sealed box facing forward in the opening from the back seat and running on a 2 channel kenwood amp. The head unit I just upgraded to a  KDC- Mp4032. I have extremely loud, clean sound from 28Hz- 30 Khz. pics can be seen at my cardomain site ...... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2075868

Nykon don't wanna be apost whore but there is no enhancement of the pics.

for the question of the dash speakers just drop in some tweeters make sure you are 2ohm load cause the factory infinity system is set up for that.

From what I remember there was some modifications that would have to be done if you wanted to replace your tweeter from aynwhere else.. Your best bet would to be goto an salvage yard and pull out tweeters from other venge's... Im not 100% sure what needs to be done, but I do remember that a lot of other tweeters will not fit directly in.

I saw a used tweeter online from a Mitsubishi Diamante...Infinity - looks the same as the stock ones in the 'Bring.  Does anyone know if these are a fit?  Or other Mitsubishi models?

Stealth and 3000GTs are compatible, and I think the Galant and Diamante are good too.
