Wiring for amp

Ok, I read the other post for the amp install and was wondering if anyone had a better idea for people with 5spd.  Mine has a clutch master cylender in the nice little spot and makes it very very difficult to get a hole in there.  Right now I have it running through my fender but I would like to put it in a better spot.
