um, silverstar is one type of bulb that sylvania makes.

if you want a BLUE look, and loss of light, get the box with the word Blue on them

Silverstars are MUCH better than the blue's, but some tests have shown that ALL halogen bulbs made to look like HIDs have WORSE light output than standard regular halogens.

and HIDs have a much worse distance output than halogens, but are better at lighting the sides of the roads.

it all goes into what you desire the most.

I have silverstars, the light output difference isn't that noticable in city driving, I like the look, and the color output is easier on my eyes (I have light eye color)
