Thoughts on rim color....
« on: February 25, 2006, 03:04:44 AM »

Long over due on some new wheels and I've narrowed it down to 2 colors.

1. Silver

2. White

I'm leaning towards silver, white on white car might be to much.........uh........white. Gun metal is to dark, chrome looks nice, but not sporty enough for my tastes. Need your imput, what do you guys think?

I'd consider white and take it somewhere to get powdercoated with blue accents.  Make it match your car.  Have four of the seven spokes and the inside lip all colored blue.  And you have white on there now anyway.  I don't think it looks too much.  Just don't get whitewall tires!

My rims that I will be putting on are the same..except they are the Diablo concept nine...only difference is that mine have nine spokes instead of seven. THey are silver and i never get tired of lookin at them. I'd go with the silver any day...or month.........or year.

I really like the look of those.  If you do some powdercoating I think it'll really set it off!  And your 7.5 should be fine. But I'm no tire expert.

Those rims look so good.. They make the Avengers look so good.. When I went rim shopping a few months ago, I came across these, when they just released em, and I was like "Damn those would look so badass on an Avenger" so I had to get them LOL.. Silver w/ Powdercoating sets it off.. Just make sure not to use some wheel cleaners, it'll cause specs in them, or eat at them. I don't know what they put in it, but it will.. Polish them up with some nice specific rim stuff like Meguiars or something.. I use a specialized rim stuff for mine, which its old, and they don't make it anymore.. But it still cleans it, and it makes it look so damn good Smiley
