Nykon, if you live from Texas to the East coast go to AdvanceAutoParts.com. they have a store locator on the site. they have an online catalog but it's supplied by PartsAmerica.com not Advance. They just work for us. Most of the part numbers on the site are for the site only, not the physical store. NAPA may be good where you live but it's the individual NAPA store that makes the difference. ALL of the NAPA's around here (4 surrounding cities) are privately owned and dicks when you go in. if they don't already know you, they don't want to get to know you unless they know the color of your wallet. There will never be a privately owned Advance because it's against the founders wishes. Now I can't guarantee that there won't be an idiot at your local Advance because I'm not working there to make sure they complete their training (we have actual knowledge training that we're tested on) but it should be alot nicer than AutoZone.

Nykon runs NAPA, that's why he's so partial.

Yeah, I should get some pics of my store up now that its mostly finished and open.  I have to say I agree the privatly owned stores are a lot different than the Corperate stores.  I think that GPC (the parent company) lets them get away with way too much sometimes.

National Auto Parts Association
so when you say NAPA Auto Parts, it is redundant, kinda like saying ATM machine.

we are a subsidiary of GPC (Genuine Parts Company) which also has Motion Industries (industrial bearings/seals/electric motors etc), SP Richards (office supply products, actually supplies Office Max and Staples with their generic products) and EIS (not sure what it stands for but they make electronic components for aeroplanes and stuff.)
