I have had a system in my car for over a year an I have been dealing with the issue of my sunroof rattling like crazy when it is closed and the volume is turned up.  The only way to stop it is to open the sunroof which is fine in the summer but sucks in the winter.  Any ideas on how to get this to stop?

i have the exact same problem...what i do is push the sunroof button slightly, so that it barely budges...
it's a definite remedy, and you don't have to open the sunroof at all!

Same problem, tightened the screws on more than one occasion, never helped.

another problem spot for me, it sounds like the roof but when you get close, its the cowl by the windshield wipers.

I've greased them too,  My cowl also rattles, but this rattle is definately the sunroof, it's very metallic and stops when you even crack the roof. I don't know if the parts are worn or not, cuz I'm not sure what they're supposed to look like.

Get some of that black foam with a sticky backing.  Make sure its Thin or will compress easily.  Clean the sunroof area where your gonna apply it with alcohol.  Lay a strip or 4 down and try that.  I havent done this, but I was going to if tightening the screws didnt help, but tightening did help!
