wireless router help

I need some help i have a wireless router and ive lock my self out of it "forget my password" does any one know of some way of reseting it or someing.

There should be a little hole/button on the back or the bottom of the router (it might even say reset or rst), you put a paperclip or something in there and hold for ten seconds.

OK i did try that but i just pushed it a bunch of times ill try holding it in.

If its a linksys, hold the reset till all the lights change red or whatever. then try access the router in the IE with 192.168.1.1 and use Admin as the password with no username.
