rear deck speakers

hello i was wondering what kind of 6x9s 0r 6.5s would be good in my car something that delivers midrange bass and sound quality also if i get 6x9s can i remove the stock grill and use the grill from the aftermarket speakers? any response would be helpfull thankyou

I'm all about Alpine, so I recommend the R-types.  But you have to do some cutting to get them to fit into the rear deck.  As for the grill you can use pretty much any speakers, and just mount them to the deck pad.

so that means if i get 6x9s i have to cut the deck to fit them/ so i shold get 6.5s then

6.5 is bigger than 6 so the basket will still be too big for the stock hole.  It's just four cuts, and you bend the metal back.  It takes like 20mins to put them in.

The alpines are slightly oversized need to open up the holes a little bit most others bolt right in ....It is hard to use the aftermarket grills since our stock grills are much larger  ....looks funky  Roll Eyes
