Leaking Manual Trans

I've never seen a 5 spd leak as bad as mine does.  I loose all the gear oil in about a week.  Its leaking sitting still and I can't find where from.  Are they know to spring a leak in any certain area?  Could it be caused by a cv shaft not being completed seated or pushed in all the way?

The oil is everywhere.  I try to clean it and look at it in the mornings but I guess the stuff is too clear.

Any ideas what to replace or check first?

There aren't really many areas for it to leak from.  I'd make sure the CV shafts are seated properly.  But that should be a really obvious leak.  It'll just pour out.  The only other thing I can think of (other than a cracked tranny case) would be the gasket seals are bad.  I'd check the CV shafts, if it isn't leaking from there, I'd pull the tranny, plug the CV inlets and fill it up, and wait for it to start leaking.
