Thinking about selling the Bring.
« on: February 03, 2006, 09:13:28 AM »

Make me an offer. I'm not sure if I'm gonna sell it or not. It's my only mode of transportation right now, so i need to get a new car lined up first. Right now it's got a couple problems. First and foremost sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to start. It turns over fine, just doesn't want to start sometimes, working on diagnosing and fixing the problem. So far I think the it's either the remote starter, the distributor, or the crank position sensor that is causing it. It has just rolled over 128K. An almost brand new Flowmaster Delta-50 (put on in July), brand new Injen CAI (only been on for about a month), Just got a full tune-up including NGK Iridium plugs, Accel Thundersport wires, cap, and rotor button. Also did valve cover gaskets at the same time. All this was done the second week of January. I've got close to $4K worth of stereo in it that I would be willing to let go for the right price. I would like to keep the CD-player though. I do have the factory AM/FM/Cassette/CD player and would also include a really nice JVC unit that will not play CD's right now, I think it could be repaired. The car has been lowered and the camber is not alligned so the tires are wearing rapidly (the car was lowered when I cought it so I don't know if the springs were heated, cut or replaced. The car does ride nice though). The tires are just over a year old, they are Kumho 711's but the rears are going to need replacing soondue to the alignment problem. It has the usual door dings and rock chips but nothing major. It was in the body shop this past summer where sombody backed into it while I was at work; Just cosmetic damage. One of the center-caps for the rims fell off and was lost, still have the other three, but the wheels are discontinued so I'm haveing difficulties locating a replacement. The interior mirror broke, so it doesn't have the auto-dim, compass or map lights right now; It just needs a new mirror the factory plug is still there. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/608482 for pics and a better description of all the aftermarket goodies. You can either post or PM me with offers or suggestions. Thanx.
