First of all it's so great to be back and have you all back!
It all started when my front struts gave up. In February 2005 I got some Monroe Sensa Track (front & rear) they might not have been the best but was all I could afford then. I took the car to a shop & got them installed. The same day I picked up the car I noticed that the front driver's side was lower than the passenger's (On the passenger's side I was able to stick one finger between the tire and the fender unlike the driver's side which has no almost no gap) I tried this in many flat surfaces and the result was the same.
Okay no big deal until 6 mos later the strut in the driver's side was gone! Few weeks later the passenger's side said good bye as well. Removed them (my self), took them back to auto zone, got a new front set, installed them my self. All cool again. But only for a few more months! Front driver's side gone (again) passenger following closely!
AutoZone says they'll give me another new set but I should "really check my suspension". Any Ideas?
For your reference: While I was removing the struts my self I dropped the car to the floor (literally speaking) due to a damaged hydraulic jack. But the issue was there already. It made me think though: "what if the guys at the shop did the same and something is bent? I check the bushings and some are worn but not extremely to make almost an inch difference....or what you think?
might also want to look as to where that lower sleeve is sitting on the strut (the part that has the bolt going through horizontally), make sure they're level on both of them at the time of install, and you may also want to look into new springs, they may just be getting weak with time.

Well when I took off the struts I also pulled out the springs and sat them one next to the other... and they were cut identically and looked the same non of them was shorter than the other.
The springs aren't that old maybe 3 yrs old but they are Eibach (I though those are supposed to be more rigid) so can they still get weaker?
they can, they can also settle at different rates too. Our springs aren't 'per-side' so to speak, so for shits and giggles switch them when it goes back together and see the results...

Damn! I've hit a few with that side of the car ..... I'll be replacing the struts and springs soon if everything goes as planned, I'll keep you updated.
