One night I was driving and misjudged how tight the right turn ahead of me was going to be. I turned at about 20 mph and my venge's front left wheel skidded into the curb on the other side of the road. I hit it with pretty good force and dented my steel wheel, not to mention killing the tire.
I used to be able to my car drive straight without any hands on the wheel, but now my wheel constantly turns to the left. I went to the shop and got an alignment thinking that was the problem, but to no avial, it changed nothing. You can also hear and feel grinding under your feet coming from the front left side when driving above 30mph.
I have been it driving this way for a few months now. Does it damage the car to leave it this way and do you have any ideas on what the problem is, or how much it would cost me to get fixed?

Have you replaced the rim and tire? If not you might want to do that. The alignment is only going to last so long if you keep the bad rim on there. My car pulls slightly to the left, but it doesn't have a bad shake or anything, and the tire wear is normal so I don't worry about it.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
You could've screwed your hub bearing. One way to test it is to jack the car up off the ground and grab the tire and see if it wiggles when you try to move it around.

I would jack the car up, yank off the wheel and spin the hub. You might get lucky and just have a brake pad hung up. But I would also check the trans axle while you spin the hub, check the CV boots for tears or grease coming out, make sure the noise isn't coming from the tranny (I doubt it, werent going real fast)
Thank you all for your continued responses! Tomorrow I am going to go out and jack her up and try your advice Davedodger.
Bad Venge, I'm not sure if my car has warranty on it any longer because I purchased it used. Money is tight so is this something that they would do for free?
+karma to both you guys. I'll keep you updated.

Yeah the recall for the ball joints is lifetime and free if it hasnt been taken care of already. I would use that to get your problem fixed for free from the dealership

Wow I had no idea that you could get recall work when the warranty was no loger valid! How would one know if their Venge had this work done on it? Does the dealership keep records of which cars need the work done or something?
its linked to your vin number, recalls are always valid, no matter who owns it or how old it is. but once its been fixed once, thats it. its in the dodge mainframe computer thing and will come up on all dealership computers once they type in the vin.
nice! i tihnk im gona check that out for myself, im not having problems in the wheels or nethin but if i ever do, ill make sure 2 check that out, thanks for da info
