well, i will be the first one to say to you " go buy it".
one because its a very good car from my point of view. its like 2 cars combined in one, and what i mean by that the body is american, but the engine is a mitsubishi engine{japanese, if you get the v6 one}, so its like best of both worlds.
this car has problems just like any other car. it all depends how the previous owner kept it. i had this car for a lil over 2 years now, and the only problem that i ever had was the tranny slipping a little bit, and i ended up paying 400 dollars to replace a celenoid pack and get a rebuilt one put instead. every since then, no problems, I love this car. i can really say that i have been thru alot of moments with this car. there were times after i purchased the car where i regreted buying it and hate it beucase because it wasnt fast enough, or others times where i wish i would have bought the 5spd 420a avenger...
but then i realized that i had to work with what i had, and keep it moving.. since that day, i accepted the car for what it is, and my passion for this car has grown ever since. ive did many things to this car from a cold air intake, racing spark plug wires, platnium spark pags, flowmasters 40 muffler, took of the wing, painted rims/calipers, costum made angel eyes{like no one elses}, and till this day, every one say to me, what is it with you and these cars.
today i am proud to say that i am a proud daddy a 97 v6 avenger that i had for 2 years, and a 95 420a 5spd avenger, which i am planning to do a complete overhall and redo the 95 avenger from ground up once i get the money that i need. I really think that these cars are a diamond in the dirt.
this is just my opinon though, not sure how other people feel about this car.

Just get the gsx brake upgrade. lol. DMS sells them for a VERY good price.
