2002+ headunits in 97+ avenger?

Is it possible to get a 2002+ headunit in the din opening and find a electrical connector for it.

Has anybody ever put one in and have it work.

The plugs appear identical on the aftermarket plug adapters ...So it SHOULD plug in(Verify before attempting) ...The head unit has a different mounting and is rounded on the corners ,So it'll have to be modded to fit...
