98 Avenger, Engine missing in low rpm
« on: January 27, 2006, 04:23:38 AM »

I know it's bad, but I have 125,000 miles on the car and I haven't had the timing belt replaced (going to do it next week)...could the timing belt be the cause of my engine missing in low rpm?

Thanks, Kurt.

Missing, as in misfiring?  Yes if your timing is off that could be it.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

Well I replaced the spark plugs today and it fixed the problem...and yes I did mean misfiring (sorry, should have been clearer).  Sorry for the dumb question.

Kurt.
