I just bought a 98 Sebring convertible with the 2.5 liter engine. The car was going into limp mode and shifting hard in first, sometimes would not even indicate a shift on guage and would not even try to shift to reverse. All other gears shift smooth. If you turn car off in drive and turn key on it would resume through all gears fine. A mechanic told the previous owner it was the trs solenoid in transmission. I took pan off and filter was nasty but fluid looked nice and red and not burnt. I took throttle body off and the valves (I guess) (things that look like pistons with springs) fell out. One of the valves is smaller than the others and was laying on top of the throttle body with the keeper. I assume it was not suppose to be loose and sitting on top of throttle body

rest were in where they were supose to be. I don't know where this thing goes or how it goes in. Only one hole seems big enough for it. Does anyone here have a schematic or info for me. Two of the longer piston looking things are the same, while the short one appears to have a keeper. One of the two pistons has two springs instead of one. Since I was not able to see past the thottle body until it was removed, I could not see where they went. Help someone, please. I am selling my other car today and need to get this thing on the road.
