Tryin' my best to Return :-)
« on: August 29, 2008, 03:12:28 AM »

Hello all, Back in 2005 I threw in the towel, I posted my goodbyes at the old ASOG.NET forums...

And from that point on my fiancee moaned and complained that I should give up my heaping wreck of a 95.5 Chrysler Sebring.

The good news is that she is gone and I still have the car.  Grin

The bad news is.. I still havent fully repaired her from my accident in '05. On a shoe string budget I am almost done... I just need a bit of help.

Right now my Brake lights are stuck on.... even though the pedal is cleared of any blockage.... I have replaced all the freakin fuses through the years... (its a sad sickness) and Im at a loss fora solution..

95.5 Sebring LX V6

Sorry for the long sad story :-)

Have you replaced or checked the Brake Light Switch on the pedal?

Glad you're back!  I'd also check the seals around the lights make sure there isn't a significant build up of condensation, and the big one that most people miss? Making sure you have the right bulbs back there.   I see quite a few people put in the wrong bulb (just because it fits doesn't make it right) and since it draws more power it causes  fuses to blow and lights to stay on.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

Excellent Ideas. I checked the lights and matched them to the specs in my old Chilton Manual.

I am going to disconnect the switch in a sec and I will see if the lights switch off.
