I thought to swap in a 4 cylinder you need tons of work? 4 cylinder and 5-speed?
It's as much work as any engine/tranny swap. And though I haven't done it, I have pulled the I4 enough to know that I could do it without any real issue.
Pull the six out. Install lines, cables, pedal, ETC for clutch and then drop in the I4
The only thing I"m not sure about is the Cross member that one of the Tranny mounts is on. I don't know if the six is set up the same way as the four.
