not sure what horror stories you've heard on the GTP's...the only thing wrong with them is the tranny's, with damn near 300ft lbs. or torque stock, you can expect to break some excrement

I went to the drag strip near school a week ago and there was a gtp running low 14's. Not bad for a bigger car.

The problem with the GTP isnt the car 99% of the time. Its the driver. They dont know about the separate Oil Resivoir for the SC

most people drive the car just to drive it, not everyone is a car-nut...but i really don't get what point you're trying to make there?

If you dont keep the oil in check on the SC then your screwed and you chew through SC's. The shops dont check the oil on the SC when they change the engine oil

That's the stories I've heard right there.

hmmm... im sure if you were to bring a GTP to a garage with the S/C'er oil leaking, they'd know it before they opened the hood...that excrement smells like nothing i've ever smelled before. But either way, its not a common problem at all with these cars Tongue
