Find the tensioner by the alternator loosen the bolt on the side of it LOOSEN then loosen the bolt on the top LOOSEN hit the wheel with a screwdriver and it should drop same thing for the a/c tensioner is in the front though
Also, it seems everyone else has forgotten to mention a few things I did when I changed my belts: 1)get aggrivated at how tight it is in the engine bay, 2)throw tools in anger, and 3)wish slow painful death to whoever invented front wheel drive vehicles.
I went through the very same thing with regards to the amount of space available from the top to access the belt and tensioner.
Then talking to my local parts store guy, he showed me the belt removal and install kit which was on sale for $15. Came in pretty hand. I think a good tool to have for any DIYer's. I was able to change the belts in 15 mins.
