i can trade my venge 99 es with a bad v-6 for a 95 talon tsi with awd with a bad 4g63 keeping my rims and tires. The only thing is everything is new on my car but the motor the trans has 30k on it and all the engine bolt ons stater alternator and stuff are all brand new before i realized my motor was shot all new bushings tie rods control arms wheel bearings the whole front and rear car is practically new minus a paint job and the 2 little dents in the door damn cell phone lol. Paint on the talon is faded a bit its purple
Im sure he will fix the venge and turn a nice profit

ok. obviously, the venge is going to cost you more if you swap the 4g in. you're looking at a VERY pretty penny. if you can do the tsi quicker than the venge, go with the tsi. if not, go with the venge. obviously in this situation, time IS money and you don't need to waste any of it.
A dead horse cannot pull a cart any more than you can make your venge beat a fully built 4g with a competent driver.
If it were me, and i had the ability, i'd say bye to the venge and hello to the tsi.

and why don't you drop a 3.0l yourself in the Avenger and sell it for a profit ?
use the money to do whatever you want
