New Symptom. I haven't gotten ahold of a PCM yet, but the car is acting up more often making me think that what ever it is, it is about to fail completely. It is now showing code 31 and 32, I read the TSB about the code 31 and am wondering if that might be what is going on, but am unaware of what the symptoms of that problem is.
The biggest difference now is that when I take up the R.P.M.s when I take off, around 4-5k, it runs and stalls and runs and stalls framatically. I mean bounces your head from seat to stearing wheel and back again.
I piddled with the EGR trying to take care of the 32 code, might I have gotten something wrong?
Also, can anyone tell me what that little condensor is for on the front-right-mid section of the block?
Stutter, kind of. I have never had to actually restart the engine, it always came back into it before it died. When I'm traveling down the road, after it's warmed up The car feels like it misses all of a sudden, but only every once in a while. More so when the AC is on. If Im going down the road, warmed up, and carry the rpm's up to 4-5k it will run then stall then run then stall, violently in any gear, at arounf the same r.p.m. I think this has something to do with the turning issue, since I had to be coming out of the corner hard to get it to stall out, it started doing it when I took a hard right turn, now anytime I get into it hard, but only when It's been running for about half an hour so it's good and warm.
I have changed the EGR, CrPS, CmPS, and MAP, no change. The car has stored code 31 and 32. The CmPs and Crps both have the upgraded plug, soldered and shrink tubed. The Battery is mounted solid, and all the grounds are clean and Ohm out good.
I'm lost. I've never had a car do this, nor have I ever hear of one doing this. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. I'll even buy the guy that gives me the right answer a six pack of his liking! Come on-Thats gotta motivate you!!!!
It still seems like a computer/sensor issue. Sounds like you've eliminated all the sensors that would cause it. Have you checked your O2s? if the car is reading too rich it will cut the fuel and cause you to stall.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
Alright, im getting aggrevated. I just swapped out PCM's. The junk yard gave me a PCM from an auto after I clearly specified 5-Speed. it ran but threw code 35 and 66. It still stalled when I turned. Im going to take it back the junk yard and get another one. 3m going to get another cam and crank sensor while im out.
Im telling myself that the autozone (japan marked) sensors are the culprit. I know better, since there new, but I don't know what else to do.
Just checked, they are good. I replaced them a few weeks back when I gave the car a full tune up. All Bosch parts, Plugs, wires, fuel filter, even replaced the pump, bosch of course. Trying to take care of the miss that would come up every now and then.
I just read that Bosch forum. I never had any problems out of mine, and I ran them in everthing. Is this just a 420A issue or something? I'm not trying to start an argument, you guys have more than enough proof. I was just surprised to see that. I have a 85 Ford F150 with them, and an 84 Ford Ranger with a 5.0-C-6 swap, both have had bosch plugs for at least two years. You can pull them out and they have that pretty brown color to them, but wipe off clean as the day I got them.
Just lucky I guess. I'll go get some NGK after I get this all taken care of.

And grats on the upgrade. lol. but no, they have a tendency to break at the ceramic or foul out easily. Fords like bosch and autolite for some reason. I think it's because ford engines aren't as complex.
I spent another day trying to figure out what is going wrong with my car. I've been recheckingeverything that I can think of. I have checked Crps and CmPS, Changed the fuel filter again, Checked the plugs and wires for shorts (plugs are still holding up), checked the coil and wiring harness to the coil. I'm going to put di-electric grease on every connector that I can. As soon as the engine cools down, I'm going to pull off every ground, one by one, and take a wire brush to every connection.
I'm on my last leg, I'm serioiusly about ready to stuff this car full of C-4 and get at least some pleasure out of it.
