any one interested in White CCFL angel eyes?
« on: August 07, 2008, 02:49:22 AM »

I am trying to make some money now, not working at the moment, and trying to pay my bills.
but any way, I've been thinking of re-doing my angel eyes in my headlight because quite frankly, living here in new york{peace of excrement place to drive}, with a suspended driving privliges as some of you may know, i think it is too risky for me drive with my current blue angel eyes on. I wouldnt mind driving with them if i hadnt had my priviliges suspended in new york, but unluckly I cant.
Ive been researching online for quite some time now and I have been trying to find those damn white ccfl lights{which they dont sell anywhere/any more in the u.s market, well they sell only one kind, but it is way too big and it wont fit our headlight compartment - the size is 120mm which is way too big}
I found a supplier that can sell me bright WHITE CCFLs at a size of 80mm{just like the ones in my car}. They are brand new, they come with everything you need to hook them up to your car.
so if any one is interested, I can sell them to you for 45 bucks per 2 rings shipped and thats including the inverter and the plastic round protective sealing. I am not asking for much and I know some people on the asec club sell led angel eyes for the same price if not more and its not even as nice or as close to being visible as these CCFL Lights that I will hopefully sell you guys.
if any one is interested, I can also get these CCFL Bars in bright white as well, 35 bucks for 2 seperate "Bars"{the come with the 110 to 220v inverter and the plastic surrounding protective sealing as well.
Here are pics:

Just as a side note{and I mentioned earlier}, and im sure some of you know, but CCFL lights are much brighter and much more nicer than LED Lights, and they last just as long as LED lights if not more.
well, thanks all, hope I can get something going on, could definetly use some money and help some people make their car look nicer at the same time.

LED VS CCFL

in this picture, you can see how much stronger and visible the ccfl is vs the led, however, in this paticular picture, the ccfl ring is way to bright, and  that is because of the person who took the picture, to be more persice on how a ccfl looks like, here are mine in my car, only they are blue:

$45 shipped for the rings, $40 shipped for the bars.
as far as mounting them, very easy, you can use silicon, or anything else that you think maybe hold it on the bezel, or just do what i did which i think is a cleaner and nicer looking job is just drill 4 tiny holes on the bottom part of the bezel and 2 holes on the top part of the bezel and just use metal wire to secure it around the rings, and then twist them. i did this method because i think its better because you dont mess up you bezel. all you do is just drill some holes and thats it, where as if you take silicon/adhesive, that stuff is going to stick to your bezel, and then it will be rough to take that stuff off if you will want to paint the bezel in the future. but thats just my point of view.

I do have a pay pal account, but i cannot take any money from there - meaning you can send the money to my pay pal account, but i will have a problem getting it to my bank account, so i will preffer a check or money order of cash if you want, which ever you preffer.
i am having problems with the shipping calculator though - what is your zipcode?

http://postcalc.usps.gov/

Up at the top of that page where it says "Select a Destination" choose Canada.

A one pound package would only cost $4.76 via First Class Mail International Package.
