wal-mart mounts tires for 3.50 a tire and 5.00 to balance. and the techs are generally competent enough to do it. don't take low profile tires to them though, they'll either not do it, or they'll damage the tire.

umm .... Cheesy

sorry...

they are shorter walled tires... more sporty, more handling, more money.. I'm sure at least 75% of us have them.  Wink

Its okay, you can laugh all you want, lol, but i learn some  thing new everyday.
but any way, my rims are 16 inch, and ever since i bought the car, the all 4 tires were "205/55/R16".
are these considered to be low profile?

They are somewhat low profile but not low enough that wal-mart would have any problem mounting them.

I have 225/40/18 and wouldn't let any tech at wal-mart touch them if they were the only tire shop in the state. lol

LoL Daes.
but any way guys, Anson was right. I called The super wal-mart that was used to be near my house in new jersey today, and i asked them how much its going to cost me to just mount the tires, and they told me $3.50 just to mount them, and $5 to balance each tire. I was planning to go to new jersey this friday any how, so i decided that I'll drive there and fill my car up since gas prices started to fall in new jersey, and just have them mount it, and il buy the tire mounter from harbor-freight some other time just so i will be able to use it and practice with it especially when I will be resanding my stock rims and painting them again{been wanting to this this for a while now}.
but any wy, thanks for all the replies guys. I appreciate it.

because he's an effin douche bag who was able to tell that you weren't too price savvy about the actual cost in the real world of what they should cost to be mounted and wanted to milk you for as much as he could.

And you learn something everyday.

Btw, scathing review on the Fake Avenger when i get back from vacation.
As for right now, i'm gonna go drink shots from between the breasts of these three hot asian chicks at the resort i'm staying at.

Later guys. Enjoy your sodas.

i would hope i was right, i work there  Tongue. the second number on a tire size is the heighth of the tire, anything less than 50 is low profile and alot of places don't have the equipment to mount them effectivly, its possible but a huge pain in the butt.
