Even with the home tire mounter, your still going to have to seal that bead somehow. lol

he is right, unless you have a huge tank of air with massive PSI to be able to seal the bead... you are not going far with the tire mounter.

well i guess you can mount the on your self and drop it off at a shop to seal/air them up and ballance at same time

good luck

I never heard of sealing a tire before.
but there is a gas station right next to my house with free air.
cant i just go there and fill the tire up after i mount it?

It's a major amount of air they use to seal it. Trust me, if it only costs you 20 for them to mount and balance 4 tires, i'd pay it. lol

It all depends how the un-sealed tire fits on the rim. some are easier then others. My buddy can mount tires in seconds on his portable tire mounter. He has shown me the exploding way to ... used some good old ether.  Grin

who is they? because i went to my local sears and walmart, and they wanted 45 dollars to just mount 2 tires without balancing.

Go with one that has BEEN in your area for a LONG time. One way to find out, go to your local Napa or Advance [if you have one] and ask who their best commercial customer is as far as the tires go. That method has a 99.9% Success rate if you don't know all the shops in the area.
