Hey guys...havent had much of a chance to do anything yet...but did get the codes read. I got P1782 - 2 4 pressure switch check, and P0732 - Gear 2 incorrect ratio.

Sounds like its pretty common codes for limp mode?

A lil update.... So I had a credit at O'Reilly's and decided to get the input and output sensors to see if it made any difference. I Put them in and no change. SO that was not it apparently.  The bad news (potentially) is that on the output sensor magnet, there was a good amount of metal chunked material. Looked like it could have been from the clutch packs maybe? It was very thin and brittle. Or do you think its just a sign of more of a mess inside yet to be found?

I am gonna drop the pan this week and drain the fluid and change the filter and gasket and see where that puts me with new fluid in there.  If it does not work then, I might just swap the trans with a known working one.

Any other suggestions?

id drop the pan and see what is in there but if you found a good amount of metal on the magnet if the speed sensor than something is wrong internally its hard to say what it is you would have to tear it apart to be sure. you are probably right though the clutches are probably totally worn and the metal base is grinding against the steels

The A604 is basically designed by chrysler to fail. It's a transmission that alot of people brought back to the dealership and paid to be fixed.

its not designed to fail if it is taken care of it will be fine the tranny in my car didnt break until it hit 144xxx miles, if the right maintenance is done and the tires arent spun alot they will last

Well guys, I found a guy that will put in an 80k mile tranny for me. Purchase price and removing the old and putting in the newer one for $700.  I think I am gonna have him pick it up this weekend for me and do it.  I need this car on the road and out of my driveway.

700 is actually pretty good as long as it isn't a ragged transmission.

Exactly. Smiley I figure I will only have 1200 in the car as it sits after the trans lol.
