and i found this interesting stage 2 turbo badge, i think some one mentioned something about that the factory can do that when you buy the car. is this it?

dang - i didnt know mopar also had cold air intakes :

very nice performance car overall, and very decent looking as well considering it reminds a Neon..

I talked about the stages
2003 had stage 1 and 2
2004 already came out with stage 1 installed plus a nice quaife LSD
stage 2 was cut in 2 parts with or without the turbo toys
stage 3 was for "off road" use because the turbo back exhaust system had no catalityc converter
they were sell by the dealers and if installed there the stage 2 didn't void the warranty Shocked

the caliber is not very attractive, I think the demise of the neon was a bad descion for chrysler. It was a sales horse it was cheap and sipped gas. I used to be in sales and if you couldn't get someone financed you would try to flip the to a neon because of the lower price you could get more pepole into one. Thing about since the neons gone they have no entry in the sub compact department. A big chunk of the new car sales market is no longer avalible to chrysler.In a fuel crissis you don't flip 9/10 of you're product line to thirsty v-8's and large fuel tanks. Pepole are looking for a gas bargan now a days because the gas money is cutting into there lifestyle money. now back to the caliber ugly ass hell, but srt-4 version awd with more ponys then the original neon srt4 I'm thinking a power train swap into something. From my understanding the chassis is similar to the lancer. And now all the branches have a version of it the pt cruiser and a jeep version can't rember what it is called but same powertrain in it would be nice to see a venge on one. awd venge with 285 stock hp. I also like the thought of a newer 2 door status setting on one .

it is a neon, but then again, it is not exactly 100 precent neon.
its like people saying the 420a engine is exactly like the stock turbo engien from a TSI OR GSX OR GS-T, but its not exactly the same.

420a just have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in common with mitsubishi turbo engine

my bad alain the rt is the only model with the awd version but it does have the 2.4 just not turbo. about the awd venge i was saying that it would be cool if someone swapped the 2.4 and awd on to a first gen avenger
