Recently my car has had a rough idle when first starting up. Sometimes it would start up and die immediately. A couple times it would die while in idle at a stop light. I read some other similar symptoms and it seems to be the IAC, I've been meaning to take it off and clean it, but just havent had the time. Finally the other day the check engine light came on while I was having a rough idle at a stop light, I checked it with one of those computer things from shucks, and it said cylinder 3 misfire.

A few years ago I was getting a multiple cylinder misfire, and had the coils and the plug wires all redone, but it was still going on, and eventually i had the fuel injectors and fuel filter replace, which solved the problem.

I'm just wondering if the IAC being dirty or going bad could also be the reason for the cylinder 3 misfire
