Well KevinT JUST picked up the wheels, good fella!

Thanks, great seller!

Here's how they look on her now:

Sorry it took so long to get the pic up!  If you recall, the new synchros in the tranny rebuild failed on the way to your place so the car was sidelined for another week and a half after I got back for a warranty rebuild of the rebuild.  The tranny shop was nice enough to put the wheels on the car for me while they had it in there, but I quickly noticed that they were squealing worse than the old worn set I took off, plus the steering was pulling all over the place like the car was possessed!  I got an alignment which fixed the issue for a day or two, but when I mentioned to a friend how I wasn't sure if I was comfortable with the look of them since they seemed to stick out of the fenders a lot, he noticed that the driver's side front I was complaining about stuck out way more than the passenger side front.  WTF?!!  So that's how I discovered that most of the bushings in the suspension had disintegrated.  (And that the steering rack was leaking like crazy, I think the continuously variable alignment from the bushing problem stretched it out and killed it.)  The new control arms, rear knuckle and steering rack took about two weeks to come in and I didn't dare drive her in the meantime (felt like it was plotting to kill me behind my back!), so the photos didn't get taken while she was off the road.  Then it took another few days to get the parts installed, after which came vacation and then another week while they fixed all the soft spots in the sub frame and replaced the rad support that the tranny shop pointed out was rubbish; so it's been a long battle just to get you that nice picture I promised down in Virginia.

And yeah, holy time and money batman!  Sigh...

Sounds like me. lol. Glad to see that she's back on the road. I have a slow long road ahead of me as Nykon gets to hear me complain every once in awhile. I'm sure he has a smirk on his face as he hears me bicker about it. lol

and i loled a little bit when i saw what you posted Shiano, i had some major problems with my Dub right after i bought it, kept getting CELs... hard work got it fixed Wink

Fifthorda, as i recall checking it a while ago, i think shipment is lil pricey, like $200 or something like that Sad
