Wiring 6 1/2's
« on: May 30, 2008, 09:19:31 PM »

OK so I'm trying to wire the 6 1/2's to a different amp and was wondering how to get the wire through the grommet in the door, i can get it through the tubing to the actual car frame, but not through and into the car.  Any suggestions?

On some cars, You are able to push it all the way through (the 95-96) on the 97+ you cannot, so you have to use the stock wires. you may have to remove the door and drill, but my suggestion is to trace the stock wires, splice and cut them, then connect whatever wire you have in between and route it to the amp, then from the amp back to the other end of the spliced stock wire that goes through the tube.
