this is probably a dumb question but do the 2.5 v6 cars have a knock sensor?

it doesn't cause in the 3.0 swap write up it says wrap the knock sensor up and tuck it out of the way cause you wont be using it

The cars the 3.0's come from have a knock sensor...our cars do not.
