weak spots in the a6o4?

just curious what the weak spots are in these trannys and what can be done or changed to ratify the problem?.I know about the retaining pin coming out and grenading the pinion gears but am unsure of the other problems.

any help would be greatly appreciated-Thanks!

sad part is thats not too far off....

you should also go for the 5 pinion hardened steel carriers i didn't see that in the article, also with the pinion shaft in the differential ask the re builder about grinding slots in the side of the shaft to allow oil into the area where the pinion gears ride around it to allow for oil flow for  better cooling and then weld the shaft into the case
