where the 2 bolts are?

I place it right on the lip... where the two notches are in that lip is presumeably for a lift i'm guessing.. well thats where I put the stand..

I should of gotten a pic when it was on the stand i guess. Cheesy

Shiano: I'll have that pic up sometime later.

thanks scottĀ  Grin

I'm always iffy about where to actually place stands, let alone a jack. One reason i prefer ramps, but sometimes, you have to have the freedom that stands provide.

If you can get your car on ramps.... son you need a drop  Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy  just playing, but seriously  Undecided

And to Gr8, if that bumper is really sticking out 3-4inches and you want it to sit flush, best thing (and bitchy) is to actually cut the that excess material and epoxy + fiberglass it from the back (the two cut pieces).  Once you get it together, body shop or you can just do some bondo work outside of it to look good.
But again, it all depends on if you really care about looks, spending some time... or just let it be like it is.

you're better off putting the jack stands on this metal plate under the car in the pic below. don't put it on the actual control arm or where it bolts on itself but behind it. theres flat areas that you can't see in this pic that work great. that plate is far far stronger than the thin pinch weld that they recommend you put the jack at. especially on older cars that might have a little rust going on. dunno why paint made the pic shrink but you can still see

Thanks. So it's the circle plate around the control arm right?
