the linkage on the 60mm jep tb is a lot diff than the avenger tb. im thinking about cutting the end off the avenger spare tb i have and welding it ot the end of the jeep tb linkage to get it to work. any other ideas?

You can always fill in the manifold Like I did, and do some careful drilling to make the holes line up to the jeep tb. You can use a soft metal to fill.
ya i made the jeep tb fit and its bolted on and the intake ported out. what u do about the iac idle air control valve and the linkage for hooking up the throttle cable??

I used a drill to bore a hole for the cable of the 2.5, there is a doorknob type of link on the tb, right where this link is is where the hold goes and make it so that the cable from the 2.5 can fit. for the iac, use the one from the jeep, it has to be grinded down a bit so that the manifold can be bolted back on, you should only need to take off about quarter of an inch. this should not cause any malfunctions. the pedal will be a bit stiff at first, of course you can modify but that would take extra work. I'm totally satisfied.
so u just drilled a hole where that knob thing is for the cable to sit in there? did u have any issues with it not sitting inside the guide like the stock tb? cause i was gonna hack off the end of a spare stock tb and mount it to the jeep shaft. is there anyway u could post a picture of what you did? does your idle stay normal with the tb on?

aside from the pedal being a lil stiff at first, no problems, idles perfectly fine, (700rpm stable) the cable stays right in as long as it's done right. you do have some room to make mistakes, but just be careful with it. the hold can be a bit bigger than the cable head so that you can fit it through. once it's through though, it should be settled and would need to be manually taken out. i'll get a pic up tomorrow.
