Well, my upper ball joint needs replacing so of course, i can't remember if it's only the lower ball joint or if the recall extends to the upper as well. Either way, I needz a new one.

Also, since there are alot of the helpful threads pertaining to suspension that never start out in the suspension forum, can someone move this thread there after it recieves a few replies?

ok. the upper ball joint CAN be replaced AND it's a noticeable difference too.

These were the symptons of my problem:

• Violent "pop" sound when I make a left turn from a flat road onto a \_ type hill
• "Rattle" sound coming from the front on the passenger side when traveling over saucer-plate sized dimples in the road

Both are fixed and the car actually handles a little tighter.
