OK, let me start from the beginning. I purchased my 96 Sebring 5 speed Oct 2000 with 52,xxx miles on it, ran like a champ. It was a Salesman Car. In November of 2002, I heard a grinding in the Transmission so I took it in & found out the Differential Pin was broke free from the housing & needed to be replaced. Had the warranty so got it replaced with the $100 deductible. Had no problems til about December of 2004. Stopped shifting into gears. Found out the plastic gear on the speed sensor broke off & melted to the main bearing destroying it. While it was out, i had the clutch replaced also. $3k later, my car was back on the road with a new clutch, trans & a new 3year/36,000 mile warranty. It was good until it stopped Shifting again Sept '05, back in again & the differential pin broke again & jammed 1st gear. Once again, new Trans under warranty. 3 months later in Dec of 05, get off the freeway from some Christmas shopping, stops shifting. Had to stop the car completely to get into gear & limp home. Tow it in & once again, the Diff pin came out & Cracked the Bell housing. This time replaced parts inside & out free under warranty. After waiting 3 weeks for parts, got the car back Tuesday Jan 10th & all is well in the universe. Finally, yesterday get home from a local pizza establishment, go to back into the garage, & egads, it wont go into reverse!!! Now i have to take it in AGAIN to find out what is wrong. The car now sits in front of the house, 86,400 miles, sitting on the 3rd Re-Re-manufactured Transmission, probably needing a 4th. Does the lemon law cover this cause this is ridiculous. Sorry about the long rant but I am NOT happy with my car right now.
