Do you have a road like this?
« on: March 11, 2008, 08:53:13 AM »

This road is less than 15 miles from my house. This map can NOT do this road justice. Those fans of curvy mountainous roads would love this one.

If you have any roads like that, like them using yahoo maps. Just zoom in until the road is plainly visible, and copy the url.

Lets see what roads you guys consider fun.

They have to be under 15 miles.

On Lake Marvin there, you will NOT get to 4th gear without feeling like you're going to go flying off the mountain or stalling the car.

Maps never do the roads justice.  There's one up in Sturgeon Bay, crazy twisty.

Yeah.. all straight roads really around here.  I figured out why one winter we had a blizzard and we were out driving... only way we knew we were on the road was the sound of gravel under the wheels.. Dave just kept the jeep pointed straightish and we stayed on the road....lol.  Couldn't hardly see past the front of the Jeep.  The best I can do is King St in Kitchener/Waterloo goes North, South, East and West.... all on one road.  But that doesn't count as it's in the middle of the city and not fun to drive on at any point.

Here

This does not do the road justice.  As an added bonus, it's also extremely "hilly" too.

We have a fun straight road here too
you get going about 80 on it going west, and you hit a hill and it feels like the earth just drops out beneath you.

Its great with people that don't know its coming.
