It will not give you a lean code, it will only give you an EGR failure code (32).  I pulled mine off long ago.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

If you can figure out the resistance provided by the egr (using an ohmeter or multimeter across the sensor while the engine is running), you can pick up a simple resistor to connect and do away with the code.

jusBringit - what code are you refering to : EGR failure (32) or the lean bank 1 & 2 code?

when my CEL was on, autozone pulled the lean bank 1 & 2...nothing else

code 32 for egr failure may take some time to show, the lean bank 1 & 2 may be due to a bad O2. so the code I'm referring to is the one DT mentioned above.

What injectors are you running?

Just putting a resistor in the connector pry won't work.  Since that is not how the computer checks to see if the EGR system is working.

my apologies, i thought the sensor directly connected to the computer had utilized a resistor.

You better be  Tongue

The way it tests to see if the EGR system is working is by...

While you are driving down the road at a steady speed (45+ I think)

It opens the EGR valve and watches to see if the O2 sensors start reading RICH

If they don't move it knows that the system is not working.
