make sure its HOt, turn ur car on and run it for 15 minutes, it should be btw the lines that denotes that the fluid is hot. anything less and u need fluid. my sebring did that to me quite a bit cuz it had a leak.

Drive it a little bit and it should be on the warm mark.

Check with the engine RUNNING.

The oil pressure has nothing to do with the tranny. I have the same problem but its a bit worse honestly. Keep the tranny fluid filled.

i had the exact same issue, where it wouldnt shift, i turned it off, then it did, there is a "hot" marking on your fluid dipshit where it should be once it gets hot.

Fine a hot marking on on the dipstick works fuckstick, but the oil pressure guage has nothing to do with the tranny or its temp or its pressure, its engine oil not tranny oil that it monitors. Tongue

My tranny has this problem when its cold out, if i drive up an incline or hit the breaks hard enough it goes into neutral (the clutch dissengages i guess) and i cant go anywhere so i gotta play with the throttle a little to get it to go back in. Keeping the fluid full helps a little but its a little to far gone right now for even that to help completly. Keep it full and check and make sure there are no leaks, next you may need a new tranny fluid pump, it isnt hard to get to if you can get in and take the tranny pan off it should be right there, take that out the filter may need to be changed or replaced. And that usually is in a new pump.
