hydrogen is a means for storing energy. what I'm saying is, lead can be converted to gold, it has been done, its just very inefficient, however, if you have electricity being produced in ur regular car (I'm sure u use the electricity in ur car unnecessarily at times, so y not use it to go back to the engine? well, simply b/c net energy in = net energy out, considering the energy converter in a vacuum. so...a car here...not gonna be worth it, unless u convert it at home from ur electricity, and store it for use in ur car, but u cant use the car to produce electricity, then convert that to mechanical energy and expect a gain.,

exactly...this is the reason that i say hybrids are excrement...the only reason they get ahead on energy is the fact that they use their braking force to create energy too. which that in and of itself is the only reason they work as well as they do, unless you get a plug-in hybrid, then you're just using your home to provide the extra electricty and thats just dumb, unless you have a free source of energy at home, then more power to ya.
