Car Suggestions
« on: February 06, 2008, 02:51:11 AM »

Ok so many people know that I have had a lot of problems with my car... I havent really been posting them up cause I would be on here too much, but long story short I had a little problem this weekend... aka I turned 18 saturday and when I was out and about some people I guess thought it would be funny to unbolt my car and cut the middle section of my exhaust...  Huh Huh Huh So now anyway when I went to start my car sunday afternoon I realized something was wrong when I turned the key and my back started to rumble (since I have sroufe's downpipe on)... I look under my car and see my exhaust laying on the ground... So fast forward a little bit my exhaust is sitting half in the trunk and half in the backseat... Plus I'm having some sort of suspension problems with the front just real squeaky and creaky... I gonna try to  skip the first couple periods of school tommorrow and at least get the exhaust fit cause it gives me a head ache to drive...

Any way after that small briefing the whole point of this is if I can ever get my car running decently again I am gonna get something new for college since this car clearly wont last.... despite my efforts... I want something that is kinda new, decent on gas, and will have affordable insurance for an 18 year old... The only thing I can think of is like 2002ish toyota celica gts... Just cause I wanna go with a japanese car, but any way do you guys have any other suggestions for cars?

So you're looking around the 10-15 to spend?  You can get yourself a nice Nissan Sentra SE-R.  I'm a fan.

Go with the Sentra, even if it's not an SE-R [Dteeee, trying to get the boy killed?].

Another idea is to get you a Golf 2 door or a GTI. those can be gotten for around that price range.

Spec V's are NOT something to be simply snubbed at. They don't roll over and play dead. They do a Guile style Flash Kick and ask if you're OK before they proceed to jump up and Tornado Kick you [BEFORE you hit the ground and BEFORE you can respond with a broken tooth filled "I need an ambulance"] knocking you across the room and into the wall.

Four doors are practical because you have room for storage or hauling people, without messing up your seat.  Spec V FTW
