Here in FL we have literally changed the signs to spanish first and english after in some areas such as Miami. It gets worse every year hell it gets worse every day.

I know how you feel. This infuriates me beyond words. \/ \/ \/

How many bad signals does that send across? This is at a local grocery store that has been in Calhoun for over since the early 80's. There are NO spanish speaking employees there [that i'm aware of] yet the amount of hispanics who refuse to learn english [which IS georgia's official STATE language] that shop there is astounding. Even Wal-Mart doesn't have spanish this glorified.

doesnt matter its to far gone to fix. the only way to fix it is time and actually inforcing the things that made this country great once. Once they learn then we will have a better place to live i dont care who wins honestly i just want to see them get a hold on our economy and get the war in Iraq finished(thats a big subject for me).

I haven't been following too close, but there is someting about McCain that bothers me.  Hilary scares me as well.  With my luck the both of them will be in the "finals" and I won't know what to do.

My exact feeling written w/o my correspondence...always on top of things Jill. its not looking good....I would go w/ Ron Paul, but he never got the boost he needed so he wont win the repub, so my vote would have to be with barack...hillary is too temperamental in her decisions and feelings..and when she doesnt have her way she bawls about it. I dont want my president crying cuz the dicktaker of some other country says she looks like a ragged witch!...which she does but u get my point.

I'm worried about the rumors that Barack is an extreme muslim, that he only got out of debt a few years ago and I don't agree with some of his ideas.. I tend to lean more Rebulican than Democrat, even tho I am listed as independant on the rosters.  I have to say that he is much better of a speaker than Hilary.  When you hear her speak it's like she is talking down to you rather than when I heard barack he was talking more to you.

his father is kenyan, mother is danish, and he was born in hawaii, true american

he may have just gotten out of debt, he knows how it feels to be in debt, where a lot of americans AND the american economy is

some of his ideas may not be 100% agreeable, but we're all human, there will never be a president with whom we agree 100%

and hillary does talk down to the citizens who make this country, she feels she is a goddess (yeechhhh!)

Barack has experience going through life like most americans, Hillary was already in the house, and if the future president of the united states (god forbid it becomes hillary) cannot keep mr clinton out of the spotlight, what is to stop him once they again "reign" in the whitehouse?

the republicans have not been able to make a decision and stick to it, (also hillary)

we dont need, "we shoulda done this," then a year later, "no we shoulda done that," we need

"we should do this" and if this was wrong "ok we made a mistake, Let US fix it" no going back and forth, stick to your ideas and when they go wrong, admit the wrong, we're only human. if you cant do this, the entire country is in jeopardy of a president turning his/her back b/c he/she wont admit to being wrong, which i find to be very immature.

political campaigns AGAIN should not be about what you feel the other person cant do for the country but rather,  Its about what YOU CAN do.

just one thing though Clinton did a lot for this country before bush tookover we were in the black that means the us had its own money and had no debts. i would rather a pres get a BJ than start  a war for no real reason, i would rather him smoke pot and "not inhale" than to run this country so far down the hole that we are trillions of dollars in debt.  honestly no he wasnt the most stand up guy but he did his job well.

That's one way of looking at it that he feels how it is to be in debt.  Tho from the sounds of it he didn't exactly come from an impovished family (I think that's the right word.. poor?).  And while we may not agree 100% what we do agree on needs to be weighted (more for what you believe more strongly in.. less for what you could care less about) or you could just vote for anyone.

exactly Jill, you have a "gold mind"  Wink.  maybe not a poor family but not so much so that he was born with a golden spoon. I think he represents a unison of the country, and a win for him would change the way the world views the US, time to be what we have always claimed to be, the country that sets the pace for the rest of the world, with examples everyone else would feel honored to live by, that's the america I wish to see.

Politicians do have their own views, and that's why there are advisers, of course some presidents can be pigheaded, I'll give obama the benefit of a doubt.

Barack being muslim is his religion not his citizenship....however with respect to his being a true american...He refuses to say the pledge of allegiance or honor our flag. This is due to radical muslim views...

One cannot dis the flag and refuse to say the pledge of allegiance and be considered a true american in any stretch of anyones imagination.
